It’s Time for The Gallop Stallion Service Auction
The Gallop Stallion Service Auction is just around the corner, on Sunday, January 24, 2010. This year’s lineup is rated as one of the best in the country for stallion services! You will have the opportunity to purchase services to some of the finest Halter, Western Pleasure, English, Working Cow, Cutting, and Reining stallions in the world! Stallion invitations are now closed for the 2010 lineup, and the website is nearing its completion. Research availability is accessible on the site, so take this opportunity to shop in advance for a breeding. Check out the stallions and their facilities. Know where your mares will be going, and what kind of offspring the stallion produces. Take a good look at the stallion breeding facility, and know what your mare care or transported semen costs will be. In addition, check on what their “Live Foal Guarantee” consists of. Can’t or don’t think you can make it to the event? Pre-bidding is currently being accepted, or bid live the day of the Gallop event, Sunday, January 24th, with one of the Gallop telephone operators. Just go to the event website at: www.gallopauction.com, and starting at 12 Noon, Pacific Standard Time, you will see the Gallop template flashing a toll free number for you to call in.
Rhodes River Ranch is again, the proud presenter of the 2010 Gallop Event. Additional mention needs to go out to all the sponsors, donors, committee members, and stallion owners, who together are helping families to be with their child in a hospital!
Each year the Gallop receives close to 50+ new stallion donors offering a breeding to the line-up with the compassion to help RMHC families. The Gallop process has been that previous stallion owners have first rights of refusal, followed by new stallion donors that want to participate. Generally, only a half a dozen spots may be open. The selection process of new applications can be difficult with so little space available. This process can often times create new stallions being placed late with months of lost advertising. In fairness to those late placed stallions of the 2010 Gallop line-up, the Gallop Annual Charity Auction feels obligated to give special mention of them in this article. Gallop is privileged to share with you two such stallions who are participating in the 2010 Gallop event.
