Inland Empire Appaloosa Owners Win In Calgary, AB
Several Inland Empire Appaloosa owners recently attended the 40th Canadian National Appaloosa Horse Show in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.Lonnie and Linda Bitton of Post Falls, Idaho and their three year old stallion, Mr. Re Skip (Mister Re x Magna Bay) won the Three Year Old Stallion Class & went on to be awarded Senior Reserve Champion Stallion.
George and Linda Greasley of Deer Park, WA had three horses at the show. Their broodmare, Skips Vision (Skips Reward x Perfect Vision) was awarded the Canadian National Champion Broodmare title. Two geldings; a weanling named Make Me Pretty (Western Impress (AQHA) x Skips Vision) placed 3rd in Weanling Geldings and a yearling, Heza Smooth Mover (Upper Classman x Special Delight) placed 3rd in Yearling Gelding, this same yearling was shown in Non-Pro Geldings, all ages placing 9th out of 20 entries for that class.
Dan and Cheryl Moriarty of Cheney, WA exhibited their yearling filly, Ima Heavenly Image (Ima Mighty Image x Jilla Heaven) to a 7th place in Yearling Fillies. Their young son, Brett Moriary exhibited Quincy's Bold Win to a Reserve Championship in Walk-Trot Pole Bending.
