A Great Opportunity...to Promote Your Horse!

The Morgan Horse Club of Washington State Sales List

Have you heard? Are you aware?... You have an excellent opportunity to promote your horse(s) for sale... and it's a bargain too! The Morgan Horse Club of Washington State Sales List was just a thought this past February and today it is thriving! With thirty horses listed, our first eight participating members are getting a substantial "bang" for their promotional "buck." With over 600 lists in circulation currently, the future is very bright!

Where are the lists being circulated? Well, the Sales List made its debut on March 26th in two different places. Our first distribution was at the Eitan Beth-Halcachmy Clinic in Arlington, WA and at the Jim Avichouser/ Barb Christianson Clinic in Spokane. Several lists have been mailed to interested individuals who have called. Eighty-seven lists were mailed to individuals who inquired to AMHA during the past month. Over forty lists were mailed to Sally Plumley to put on the literature table at the MHAO Spring Show in Eugene and over fifty lists were mailed to Jolie Birdsell will distributed them at the Knights of Santiago Open Show in Spokane this past April and several more "B" System shows this summer. In addition the Sales List is being advertised for the next year in the service directory of Horses Buy and Sell; in The Horseman's Directory; and in The Morgan Connection Classified Ads for the next six months. And we've only just begun!

How can you subscribe to the sales list? The subscription sheet will be published in the next Morgan Notes and it will also be distributed with The Tales as well. The Sales List contact is Ann Robitaille in Monroe, WA (360) 794-3192. Listing parties must be members of the Morgan Horse Club of Washington State; the membership fee is $12 annually. Rates for the Sales List are for six months of advertising; $15 for one to three horses, $25 for four to seven horses, and $35 for eight to twelve horses.

How can you help? We are looking for volunteers to distribute the lists to local tack and feed stores throughout the Northwest. Call today, if you'd like to help!
