Facility Spotlight: Sterling Meadows

Carole Bailey and Bill and Shari Filler have just renamed Filler Paint Ranch, Sterling Meadows, and moved to the former Pacifica Farms location in Post Falls, Idaho.

The new ranch is much larger than their previous facility in Rathdrum, Idaho. The facility includes the main barn, which contains a 60'x156' indoor arena and several stalls and room for bathing, a stallion barn, a tremendous outdoor arena, outside pens with shelter, a hotwalker and a round pen. The facility can hold up to 50 horses on 20 acres in a nice big open area.

On the ranch, Bill & Shari board and breed horses with Jacqui Dodd as the trainer. Jacqui has been professionally training and breeding since 1979. She trains in Western, Reining, English, Halter, Driving, Trail, Pleasure, etc. She is also an AHSA licensed judge "r" Arabian Division. Jacqui also shows in Halter & Performance. Mayson, Jacqui's stallion, has Multiple Champion Arabian Stallion Championships in Reining and Trail. He produces size, good disposition and athletic ability. Shari has been around horses for years. She said, "Everything about horses is fun and exciting from training to breeding and seeing the babies come each year." Shari and Bill started boarding and breeding horses about 2 years ago. Their future plans are to show in the Paint Weanling Futurities through this season, as well as continuing to breed and board. Currently there are 31 horses with plenty of room for boarding. There are also Futurity prospects for sale.

Bill and Shari's stallion Racketeer is standing at the ranch, beautiful as ever. He's an APHA Champion, Superior & Honor Roll Western Pleasure, ROM Cutting, leading APHA Sire, Sire of multiple Futurity winners, superior halter & performance horses.

Both Shari and Jacqui are very happy with their horses and their new facilities.
Sterling Meadows is located at N. 6405 Idaho Road, Post Falls, ID 83854; 208-777-7958. Inquires are always welcome.
