WWRHA Easter Show Results
The Western Washington Reining Horse Association's Reining Eggstravaganza was the first in the club's 1997 series. Held on March 30th at the Evergreen State Fairgrounds in Monroe, WA, the Easter show offered classes for every level of rider. Placings were given through 6th and Easter baskets were awarded to top finishers in each class.
Next, the club will turn its focus towards the month of June with its second and third of its five-show series, as well as NRHA-sanctioned Derby. The Evergreen State Fairgrounds in Monroe, WA will be the location for Show Two, June 7, 1997. The Third in the series is scheduled to be held June 29th at the Woodinville Riding Club in Woodinville, WA. Both provide a wide variety of classes to compete in.

Green Reiner- First: Roxie, ridden by Tony Kirschner, owned by Peter Spadoni.
Rookie Rider- First: Topsail Brisk, ridden and owned by Julie Breena,
Second: Santalina Command, ridden and owned by Roxanne Peters,
Third: Tuckers Gold Smoke, ridden by Sue Stark and owned by Dan and Sue Stark.
NRHA Licensed Horse- First: Joe Dee Dedicate, ridden by Mike Helsen and owned by Margaret Sullivan,
Second:Sir Quincy Dun Good, ridden by Kim Witty and owned by Christine Batson,
Third (tie): Dolly Dual Nic, ridden and owned by Tony Kirschner, and Just Plain Katsy, ridden by Mike Helsen and owned by Arne Linnerud.
Youth- First: Dually Bonded, owned and ridden by Becky Reiter.
Beginning Rider- First: Leo Senor Docs Too, ridden and owned by Julie Jones,
Second: One By Foreman, ridden and owned by Lori Fleming.
Open- First: Hotroddin Solano, ridden and owned by Katy Radder,
Second: Lucky Farewell, ridden by Mike Helsen and owned by Inger Helsen,
Third: Bee Just Like Nite, ridden and owned by Debra Muir.
Novice Rider- First: One By Foreman, ridden and owned by Lori Fleming.
Non-Pro- First: Hotroddin Solano, ridden and owned by Katy Radder,
Second: Tuckers Gold Smoke, ridden by Sue Stark and owned by Dan and Sue Stark. WWRHA would like to thank all the riders and their owners who came to participate at this show!
WWRHA's Four and Five Year Old Derby offers $1200 in added money this year. Classes include: Four and Five Year Old Derby (Open and Non-Pro), Youth, Non-Pro, Limited Non-Pro, Novice Horse, Rookie, and Open. Start time for the NRHA approved show will be 8:30am, June 8th, at the Evergreen State Fairgrounds in Monroe.
