Turnin' and Burnin' at the Port Angeles Slide In

Ride your Paint, lead your dun, Slide In to Port Angeles and you're guaranteed to have some reining kind of fun. The fourth annual Port Angeles Slide In is shaping up to be the most "happening" reining horse event in Washington and beyond.

The show committee at the Port Angeles Slide In summons you to join us at Olympic View Stables where the sport of reining offers high energy, hot competition, sizzling spins, and great food. Pick out a peak on the Olympic Mountains for your "slide to" spot, and hear the crowd give that heartfelt "yeeaah!!!"

In keeping with the tradition of growth and improvement the Port Angeles Slide In is pleased to offer over ^$10,000 in added purses and prizes, a Morrison Bronze to the NRHA open winner, and a saddle to the high point Non-Pro rider (combined scores Saturday and Sunday). In keeping with our promise to deliver the best show that we know how, we have added 65 stalls on the premises. A total of 21 classes will be offered over the two day show with WRHA affiliate classes held on Saturday, August 9th, and NRHA approved classes on Sunday, August 10th.

As an added bonus, once again we offer an unheard of 100% Payback (on selected classes), plus NRHA affiliate classes payback at 60%. If you're looking for the show that's worth hauling to this year, your best bet is not to pass this one up.
