"There's No Business Like Show Business"

Chrissy Wayne and PH Lutece

If you are looking for dedication, patience, keen show knowledge and a lot of experience in the show arena, you'll find the name Chrissy Wayne. Or perhaps many of you will remember her as Chrissy Clark who showed the beautiful Arabian gelding Mar Taffon+/ to numerous championships in the Arabian A and B system shows. Chrissy won over 350 first places collectively in Western, Huntseat, Saddleseat, and Halter, then she turned to judging. She participated in the International Judging School held in Toronto, Canada. She learned judging under some top names such as Sterling White and Richard Shrake. Through judging, Chrissy was given a different perspective about riding in horse shows, because she saw what really helps to catch a judge's eye in the show ring. She definitely has an experienced and keen eye in seeing what people need to do to improve their ride. She now gives clinics and lessons which enable people to ride as if they are in a horse show, where she can judge (evaluate) and then explain to them what they need to work on. People go to a show to be judged, so why not learn from a judge? Chrissy works with students who are serious about showing; sometimes they even attend horse shows together.

Although her real love is showing Arabians, she has owned and shown Quarter and Paint horses in Western, Huntseat, Halter and Reining. Her beautiful black and white overo Paint mare had a flashy Half-Arabian Pinto filly out of KHARBEN+/, who is a National Champion Arabian Halter stallion, owned by Tom Chauncey Arabians in Scottsdale, Arizona. Chrissy plans on showing her in Halter this year. On the cover is her purebred Arabian PH LUTECE whom Chrissy is currently training. She looks forward to showing again, so look for her and Lutece at the Arabian shows this year.

Chrissy will travel to do clinics and juding. She lives and trains in Rathdrum, Idaho, and is also the new Western Pleasure trainer for Spokane Falls Equestrian Centre in Spokane, Washington. If you or your barn is interested in monthly clinics she will travel to your place for instruction, so give her a call. Limited openings for judging and training!
