The American Quarter Horse Association
Founded more than 50 years ago, the AQHA is comprised of international members whose foremost goal is the welfare of the American Quarter Horse, America's Horse. As the world's largest equine bred registry with more than three million registered horses, the non-profit organization provides a variety of services, events and information all for only $20 for a 12 month membership or $45 for 36 months.
Services AQHA provides its members includes reduced rates for virtually all AQHA services. Members pay $15 for foal registration, while non-members pay $35. A discount also applies to transferring a horse into your name, as members pay $10 and non-members are charged $30.
AQHA Records Research Department maintains breeding, showing and racing statistics on registered American Quarter Horses and their owners.
Educational and informative materials about owning American Quarter Horses and AQHA are available to you free of charge. Numerous brochures, booklets and videotapes explain the many programs and services provided by AQHA as well as the versatility of American Quarter Horses.
