Poormans Schooling Show To Offer Western Saddle as Series High Point Award!
Wow! What a series to be offered! A Poormans Open Show schooling series will be offered at the Trails starting in January, 1998! This popular show offers a format that is enjoyed by all who participate. Whether you are schooling a horse, learning for the first time, improving the horse and rider or just out for fun you will find a variety of classes to fit your needs. Plus, there are six Championship classes offered by division that are free to the qualified entrants! The economical price of just $5 per class or $45 to ride all (one horse/rider combination) is just one more thing that makes these shows so inviting.
The Poormans Schooling Series is taking the fun one step further. In addition to offering High Point Awards at each show to three age divisions; 13 & under, 14 through 18 and 19 & over, we are offering series High Point Awards! A western saddle will be awarded to the All Around Horse & Rider combination for the most total points earned during the four show series. Also offered will be trophy buckles to the three individual age groups mentioned previously and a cooler for the High Point Halter/Showmanship horse for the most total points earned during the four show series.
So come on out and enjoy our relaxed atmosphere, get that necessary arena time to finish your horse and have a bunch of fun for not a bunch of money. Because these shows are great for building confidence, everyone from beginners to experts will benefit from participating. Show clothes are not required and training equipment is allowed! For those of you who like to be early birds, hauling your horse in the day before is available and reservations are not necessary. There are lots of stalls available. And, as always, spectators are freer There are also great dining facilities including the Cactus CafE and a great new restaurant that overlooks the arena!
