IT'S A TRADITION - Good Horses,
Determination & Good Clean Fun!
A marshmallow roast on the coldest day in January, just to remind us how much fun we're having at Pidcock/ Coates Quarter Horses. The Pidcock's have spent three generations "using the Best horse for the job." The Coate's have spent nearly as much time figuring out how to make a living at it. This successful partnership evolved when these two hard heads met... The cover photo is Zips Par Bar, one of two proven, mature stallions at the ranch...the second is Doc Joe Tucker, buckskin son of "Hall of Fame" Doc Tom Tucker. However, we have two young stallion prospects we will stand to a few selected mares. "Billy Harlander," blue roan, and "High Dollar Zip," gray.
Our bloodlines include Zippo Pat Bar, Pat Three, Leo, Colonel Freckles, Poco Bueno, King Fritz, Blondies Dude, Doc Tom Tucker. Our breeding stock mirrors the heavier bodied, foundation type Quarter Horse...of course, we've prettied them up a bit but that great disposition and powerful body is still there. We would like to share our success and enjoyment with all those who appreciate a Good All Around horse. Please consider this a personal invitation to see the horses that won the heart of the West, "Foundation" type Quarter Horses.
