Blazing Hot
Wishing Star's highest selling service was two-time AQHA World Champion stallion, "BLAZING HOT." One of the Quarter Horse breeds most sought after stallions - "Blazing Hot" is owned by Robbie & Joan Schroeder of Gainesville, Texas. Never in the history of the AQHA World Show has any horse won both World Champion Jr. Western Riding and Jr. Western Pleasure in the same year. Booked to over 200 mares in 1997, 1998 & 1999, Wishing Star had one of only two breedings being donated to "Blazing Hot" for the 2000 breeding season. This breeding also held the incentive of being one of the very few transportable "Blazing Hot" breedings. Due to the above mentioned, many felt his stallion service would be high in demand and up they're topping the sale. Standing for $2,500. Blazing Hot's service sold for $2,500 to Susan Stevenson and Dale Borders of Chattaroy, Wa. Wishing Star in indebted to Robbi & Joan Schroeder for giving their gift of love and support.
Our "second highest selling service" was two-time AQHA World Champion "PEPPY BADGER CHEX." He is a World Champion Junior Reining Horse and Senior Working Cow Horse. As a young sire, his book has been closed by early spring for the past five years. It is very evident that "Peppy" has made quite a mark for himself in the performance horse industry, as he currently ranks among the NRHA's "Leading Money Earning Sires." He has produced an AQHA Reserve World Champion, and futurity champions that are currently being shown throughout the world at NRHA, AQHA, NCHA, and NRCHA events. W-W Quarter horses, Jim & Sondra Wright and Pam Whittaker own "Peppy Badger Chex". People doing homework on this stallion predicted he would top the auction in high selling services. His track record with Wishing Star is well noted. Since his introduction into the Wishing Star Gallop line-up in 1993, his service has always been one of the top three high selling services of the Quarter Horse breed. His service sold for $2,400 to Myra Lewis of Clark Fork, Idaho. Over the past seven years, this incredible stallion has brought in over $15,000 for Wishing Star children! W-W Quarter Horses saying "yes" in giving back the blessings that they have been given in "Peppy Badger Chex," and "Lena's Wright On" have blessed wishing Star.
Wishing Star Gallop's third highest selling service (of all breeds) was no surprise to many. It was Arabian stallion, "PADRONS MAHOGANY." He is an extraordinary stallion, show horse and sire. He is a multi-champion Halter; a Canadian Top Ten Futurity Stallion; and more importantly, one of the great sires in the Arabian breed today. He is sired by "*Padron," out of an aristocrat mare "Val Ane Versare," who is the dam of six National winners, including National Champion Futurity and Canadian National Champion, "GA Hal Psyche." Breeders in Europe, South America, Chile, Argentina, Venezuela, Australia, and Mexico have become fans of this handsome black bay stallion. Many youngsters have been imported. His sons and daughters have earned more than 200 championships at halter and 100 at performance. They are not only winning at the "A" level, but also Regional and National. Being a leading Arabian sire, many knew he would be on of the top four highest selling of the auction. His service sold for $2,150 to Sheri Boito of Spokane, Washington. Congratulations and God Bless to the "Padrons Mahogany Group" in their compassion to make dreams become a reality! You're always there to support us when we ask.
Wishing Star's fourth highest selling service was two-time World Champion, "LEAN WITH ME." This stallion is noted as one of the most natural and truly blessed Reining Horses within the Quarter Horse breed. His title includes "AQHA World Champion in Junior Working Cow Horse," and "AQHA World Champion Senior Reining Horse." He is a superior in Reining, and won the prestigious NRHA Derby (winning $20,000) He is sired by "Smart Little Lena," out of one of the best mares in the U.S., "Chexy Lady." She has produced nine AQHA World & Reserve World Champions. His service sold for $2,050 to Joanne Pettit of Greenacres, Washington. Wishing Star cannot thank owners "Jon & Norma Sather" enough for always being there for us with such a high caliber stallion. Knowing you could make a difference in the life of a child, you have made many dreams come true!! God bless you for your kind heart in giving and support in caring!!
