The Northwest Quarter Horse Youth Association

The Northwest Quarter Horse Youth Association (NWQHYA) is a group of young horse enthusiasts who are primarily involved with open showing and 4-H. We are an active group, taking part in community service and educational programs. This November, the members and parents are going to be involved in a fashion show sponsored by the Bon Marché to make money for the United Way of Walla Walla. Fund raising projects throughout the year for the club help finance riding lessons and educational field trips. Last year we took a day trip to WSU to tour the new veterinary hospital. Our winters are used to work on our STAR Program, as sponsored by the AQHA, and summers are on horseback at every opportunity.
