Quarter Horse stallion "Scotch Bar Time," brought the house to its feet when in a matter of only minutes his service sold for $4,000 to Susan Stevenson & Dale Borders of Chattaroy, Washington. Offered for the first time in our sale, this leading sire of the Quarter Horse Registry is owned by George Stauffer of Barneveld, Wisconsin. Wishing Star knew it had been blessed and given the gift of hope from owner George Stauffer when he agreed to offer a breeding to this very popular and sought after sire.
He was a favorite believed to top the sale that evening. He made History for the event as no other Quarter Horse Stallion has ever topped the sale at $4,000. Congratulations!
Our "second highest selling service" and "high selling Arabian stallion service" was U.S. Reserve National Champion, "Padrons Psyche." One of the Arabian breeds most sought after stallions- a leading sire of his registry - Padrons Psyche is owned by La Cabreah Arabians/Joe & Kathy Zehr of Fort Wayne, IN. Many knew his stallion service would be high in demand and up there topping the sale. His service sold for $3,050 to Shelly Gomavitz of Monroe, Wa. Wishing Star is indebted to Joe & Kathy Zehr for giving their gift of love and support in making Wishing Star Children's dreams become a reality.
Our "third highest selling service" was "Eternety." His service sold for $2,100 to Cathy Reynolds of Priest River, Idaho. He is owned by Steve & Kim Erickson of Bad Barn Arabians in Hudson, Wisconsin. People doing homework on this stallion predicted he'd top the auction in high selling services. His track record with Wishing Star is well noted. Since his introduction into the Wishing Star Gallop line-up in 1993, his service has always been one of the top four high selling services in the auction. Over the past four years, this incredible stallion has brought in a total of $12,450 for Wishing Star children! Wishing Star has been blessed by the Erickson's saying "yes" in giving back some of the blessings that they have been given in "Eternety."
Fourth highest selling service was two-time World Champion, "Lean With Me." He is owned by Jon & Norma Sather of Winfield Farms in Manson, Wa. Being a leading Reining and Working Cow horse in the Quarter Horse registry, many breeders knew his service would be one of the four highest selling services of the auction. His service sold for $2,050 to Gem Farms - Paul Nettland & Jacki Lynn Yancey - of Hermiston, Oregon.
Congratulations to these stallions topping the sale, and all the other stallions who raised lots of money for our children!
