Eternety: Tops Wishing Star Sale!

Arabian Stallion - Eternety
Tops Wishing Star Gallop's Sale with Service Selling for $3,500

Arabian stallion, "Eternety" brought the house to its feet when in a matter of only minutes his service sold for $3,500 to Emerald Valley Arabians, Inc. of Sandpoint, Idaho.

Always nearing or selling at his normal stallion fee, this leading show horse and sire is owned by Bad Barn Arabians. Wishing Star knew it had been blessed and given the gift of hope from owners Steve & Kim Erickson of Hudson, Wisconsin when they - once again - agreed to offer a breeding to their U.S. National Champion Stallion.

He was the favorite believed to top the sale that evening and once again helped to make a dream come true.

It was a three-way tie for the "second highest selling service" as three powerful stallions sold their services for $2,500 each earning the title. U.S. Reserve National Champion, "Padrons Psyche" - owned by La Cabreah Arabians/Joe & Kathy Zehr of Fort Wayne, IN - and Arabian Triple Crown champion, "Kharben+/" - owned by Tom Chauncey Arabians of Scottsdale, Arizona - sold services to high bidder Emerald Valley Arabians of Sandpoint, Idaho. "Tammen" service was purchased by Paula Fantasia of Valley, Wa. This third leading Egyptian stallion in the registry is standing at Thistlewood Farm in Kerrville, Texas and owned by Patrick & Lisa Swayze. Many knew these stallions services would be high in demand and up there topping the sale.

In a record breaking tie - for any Gallop year - so it was that "third highest selling service" was a four-way tie. At a fee of $2,000 per stud fee, these four stallions earned the title. Multi-champion "Padrons Mahogany" - owned by Padrons Mahogany Group in Grand Rapids, Michigan - sold a service to Mary Avery and Sheri Boito of Spokane, WA. Three time National and four time Reserve National Champion "G.S. Khochise" is owned by Kharousel Farm Larry & Betty Chapman of Puyallup, WA. His service sold to Emerald Valley Arabians, Inc. from Sandpoint, ID. Multi-Champion "Bey Shahboom" owned by Darik & Michele Anderson of Lake Stevens, Wa - sold a service to Debby Hendley of Cour d'Alene, ID. Two-Time World Champion, "Peppy Badger Chex" owned by WW Quarter Horses, Jim & Sondra Wright and Pam Whittaker from Portland Oregon, sold a service to Chuck and Julie Lazaro of Lone Pine, Montana. People doing homework on these stallions predicted they would top the auction in high selling services.

Fourth highest selling service was Reserve National Champion, "Opus One." He is owned by Meadow Wood Farms, Jack & Loyal McMillian of Snohomish, Wa. Being a leading sire in the registry, many breeders knew his service would be one of the four highest selling services of the auction. His service sold for $1,850. to Robert & Phillis Dorris of Rochester, Wa.

Congratulations to these stallions topping the sale, and all the other stallions who raised lots of money for our children!
