Playgirls Conclusion Tops Wishing Star
Gallop's Sale with Service selling for $3,300!Wishing Star's highest selling service was two-time Reserve AQHA World Champion stallion, "Playgirls Conclusion." One of the Quarter Horse breeds most sought after stallions "Playgirls Conclusion" is owned by Lowell & Tyler Stewart of Lawrence, Kansas. He is a noble creature, a legend, and a leading living show horse and sire of the AQHA registry. With over 403 registered foals, "PLAYGIRLS CONCLUSION" has been on the Leading Sires list a number of times, including "All Divisions" Leading Sires list in 1997. His siring list includes 8 World Champions and 8 Reserve World Champions. Due to the above mentioned, many felt his stallion service would be high in demand and up there topping the sale. Playgirls Conclusion's service sold for $3,300. to Larry and Lori Wilkerson of Kennewick, Washington. Wishing Star is indebted to Lowell & Tyler Stewart for giving their gift of love and support to Wishing Star.
Our second highest selling service was two-time AQHA World Champion "PEPPY BADGER CHEX." He is a World Champion Junior Reining Horse and Senior Working Cow Horse. As a young sire, his book has been closed by early spring for the past five years. It is very evident that "Peppy" has made quite a mark for himself in the performance horse industry, as he currently ranks among the NRHA's "Leading Money Earning Sires." He has produced an AQHA Reserve World Champion, and futurity champions that are currently being shown throughout the world at NRHA, AQHA, NCHA, and NRCHA events. W-W Quarter Horses, Jim & Sondra Wright and Pam Whittaker own "Peppy Badger Chex". People doing homework on this stallion predicted he would top the auction in high selling services. This year's service offered a rare opportunity for transported semen. His track record with Wishing Star is well noted. Since his introduction into the Wishing Star Gallop line-up in 1993, his service has always been one of the top three high selling services of the Quarter Horse breed. His service sold this year for $2,500 to Bridgette Famery of Dalkeith, ONT, Canada. Over the past eight years, this incredible stallion has brought in over $17,000 for Wishing Star children! In giving back the blessings that W-W Quarter Horses had received in owning "Peppy Badger Chex," and "Lena's Wright On," Wishing Star benefited from there generosity in saying, "Yes, add our stallions to your line up. We want to continue to help to make children's wishes come true!"
Wishing Star Gallop's third highest selling service (of all breeds) was no surprise to many. It was Quarter Horse Stallion, "BLAZING HOT". He is a two-time AQHA World Champion stallion. He is owned by Robbie & Joan Schroeder of Gainesville, Texas. Never in the history of the AQHA World Show has any horse won both World Champion Jr. Western Riding and Jr. Western Pleasure in the same year. This breeding was one of very few donated to "Blazing Hot" for the 2001 breeding season. It also held the incentive of being one of the very few transportable "Blazing Hot" breedings. This stallion has always remained in the top four highest selling services of the Gallop. Standing for $2,500, Blazing Hot's service sold for $2,300. to Susan Stevenson and Dale Borders of Chattaroy, Washington. Thank you Robbie & Joan for always supporting us when asked.
Wishing Star's fourth highest selling service was two-time World Champion, 'LEAN WITH ME.' This stallion is noted as one of the most natural and truly blessed Reining Horses within the Quarter Horse breed. His title includes "AQHA World Champion in Junior Working Cow Horse," and "AQHA World Champion Senior Reining Horse." He is a superior in Reining, and won the prestigious NRHA Derby (winning $20,000) He is sired by "Smart Little Lena," out of one of the best mares in the U.S., "Chexy Lady." She has produced nine AQHA World & Reserve World Champions. His service sold for $2,300, to Norm Poser of Veradale, Washington. Wishing Star cannot thank owners, Jon & Norma Sather, enough for always being there for us with such a high caliber stallion. Knowing you could make a difference in the life of a child, you have made many dreams come true!! God bless you for your kind heart in giving and support in caring!!
Congratulations to these stallions topping the sale (of all breeds participating), and all the other stallions that raised lots of money for our Children!
