Festival of Horses & Stallion Spectacular
A Weekend Not To Be Missed!November 4th & 5th are the dates to circle on your calendar!
This is the weekend the Trails in Olympia, Washington is hosting the Festival of Horses and the Second Annual Stallion Spectacular!
The fun will begin on the morning of November 4th with a "Poormans Open Show". A full class schedule will be offered with class prices at unbelievable $3.00 per class! Terrific "High Point Awards" will be given to the top 4-H rider, English Horse, Western Horse and "Green Horse", with ribbons to 5 places.
The evening will be filled with exciting horse presentations... The Festival Of Horses! This first time exhibition will host more than 10 different breeds being shown at their best. The evening will include special demonstrations by Quarter Horses, Paints, Pintos, Arabians, Appaloosas, Saddlebreds, Morgans, the ever so popular Mini horses and more! The Morgan Youth Club will be giving a performance with their Morgans and their Mini's will be our "Grande Finale" with the "Miniature Drill Team" (a performance not to be missed!)
The Stallion Spectacular will start the day on Sunday, November 5th. The individual stallion showcasing will begin at 11am, with the barn doors opening at 10am. This will give early spectators a chance to preview the stallions before hand. Many of the stallion owners will be bringing their stallions "get" as an example of what their stallion produces. These wonderful horses are often available for purchase! Some of the stallion owners will be offering special incentives for breeding your mare to their stallion, including a reduction or discount on the breeding fee!
Bring the family and spend the weekend. Whether you are a serious mare owner looking for the right stallion or simply an admirer of horses, you will definitely enjoy the entire day!
