October 2001 Miniature Horse Issue

The cover photo shows our Senior Stallion, "Oak Forest Southern Knight", driven by Gerwyn Jones Jr*. Knight is an AMHA National winner from 1992, and has been a Champion from coast to coast. He has first place wins in Texas, Florida, North Carolina, Kansas, Oklahoma, Reno, Virginia, British Columbia, as well as here in the Northwest (he had a lot of frequent flyer miles!) His career is now focused on breeding, and he really loves his work.

Also standing at stud is one of his 24 children, Whispering Firs Cool Dude, pictured to the right, who measures 29.75". He is the same beautiful black color as his father, with great conformation and we are expecting wonderful things for him.
