The Inland Empire
Tennessee Walking Horse Breeders' &
Exhibitors' Association
The Inland Empire Tennessee Walking Horse Breeders'
& Exhibitors' Association is a non-profit corporation formed
to promote the Tennessee Walking Horse.
Our club also sponsors clinics, trail rides, guest
speakers, shows and the Walker Talk which is a newsletter published
monthly to keep members in touch with the functions & activities
of the group. We maintain a video & book library that may be
checked out by the members that pertain to gaited horses. These
may be check out at our meetings. It's a great way to keep in touch
with other Tennessee Walking Horse people and to share information
on tack, bits, gaits, and horses!
On August 3 & 4, 2002, this association will
be holding a horse show called the Inland Empire Grand Celebration
at the Spokane Interstate Fairgrounds. Classes offered will show
the versatility of the horse such as Western pleasure, English pleasure,
driving to cart, halter, lead line, side saddle, jumping poles,
barrels, show horses, etc. shown by professionals, amateurs, and
juveniles. Our exhibitors have come from Washington, Oregon, Idaho,
Montana, North Dakota, and Canada. To encourage the greatest number
of spectators, the only admission is a donation to the Spokane Food
Bank or to the Spokane County Humane Society.
