Ayana McGowan was a busy little girl last year. She belongs to the Coeur du Cheval US Pony Club, Washington State Horseman Association, Northwest Gaming Club & Connemara as a Junior. At six years old, she has done Combined Training, Dressage, Equitation, Pleasure, Hunter Hack & Gaming. Ayana went to twenty plus shows this year with grandma Patty Nelson, owner of Lone Pines Farm and stallion Skyview's Orion, sire of Count Starbuck pictured here with Ayana. Starbuck was just recently sold to the Randolfs of Littleton, Colorado for their six year old daughter. Ayana won many awards with the three year old Starbuck and with Skyview's Altair this year. Skyview's Altair is Ayana's main ride.
At the horse show last year, grandma Patty says she made everyone laugh because every time they turned around Ayana was entering the arena gate into another class, regardless of what class it was. She even slipped into the adult classes and received prizes!
Ayana will be busy this year with grandma Patty's two year old half-bred Connemara Sport Horses in the walk/ trot classes at Open and some WSH 'B' Hunter/ Jumper shows, and some local gaming shows in Spokane
