Trail
Ride for St. Jude's Hospital
Memphis, TN -
St. Jude Children's Research Hospital has announced that plans
are being made for the June 1, 2002 Saddle Up for St. Jude Trail
Ride.
At St.
Jude, scientists and physicians are working side-by-side seeking
not only a better means of treatment, but also the causes, cures,
and prevention of leukemia, Hodgkin's disease, sickle-cell anemia,
pediatric AIDS and other child-killing diseases. All findings are
shared with doctors around the world to ensure that children everywhere
will benefit from the work being done at St. Jude.
St. Jude
Children's Research Hospital, in Memphis, Tennessee, was founded
by the late entertainer, Danny Thomas. The hospital is an internationally
recognized biomedical research center dedicated to finding cures
for childhood catastrophic diseases. The hospital's work is supported
through funds raised by the American Lebanese Syrian Associated
Charities (ALSAC). All St. Jude patients are treated regardless
of their ability to pay. ALSAC covers all costs of treatment beyond
those reimbursed by third party insurers, and total costs for families
who have no insurance. For more information, please visit www.stjude.org
