Montana Mule Days 2000
The "Mule-en-ium" is upon us! Plan to be in Drummond, Montana on June 9, 10 and 11 this year, to welcome it in. We know our donkeys and mules are Y2K compliant, and will provide the cheapest, most asstonishing entertainment you have ever seen! For only $5, you can come, camp and watch the largest assembly of long eared equines in the great state of Montana, as they are assked to show off their riding and driving skills. Being somewhat independent, they may or may not do so, but may instead decide to make an ass out of their handler, and delight the crowd!Friday, the halter and performance classes are held, with the log pulling in the evening. Saturday, there are driving classes, and cattle working events during the day, and some speed events in the evening. Not to forget the giant parade downtown at noon. Sunday provides still more driving classes, the Ranch Mule contest, lots of speed events, and the Packer's Scramble. Each day's events are so good, you will want to see all three days worth - well over a hundred classes in all, for both adults and youths. This is great family entertainment, and kids under 12 get in free.
There will be an assortment of sizes, colors, and kinds of donkeys and mules, from Mini to Maxi, and there are always quite a few for sale, so if you come and catch "Long Ear Fever," you can be cured on the spot.
