The Foundation
Quarter Horse Club

The Washington Foundation Quarter Horse Club (WaFQHC) is hosting an open breed schooling show in Benton City, WA March 9-10. There will be a clinic followed by the show. The show will be judged by National Foundation Quarter Horse (NFQHA) rules. Vixen Barney, who helped write the NFQHA rule book, will be the judge of the show, and will teach the clinic. This show is to introduce people to the NFQHA and the wide variety of classes offered. This will be a great learning experience for anyone interested in the NFQHA and a great chance to find out what the NFQHA is all about.
NFQHA horses are expected to be versatile animals that can go from pleasure to working a cow. There are a

wide variety of classes offered at NFQHA shows, and this schooling show will have a sample of those. All ages of participants at all experience levels are welcome. The show will be fun and exciting, as well as a great learning experience for both horse and rider. Everyone is encouraged to participate in all classes, even if you have no experience. The best way to learn, is to do.

The WaFQHC is fun for the whole family and the horses too. We are looking forward to having a great show season that will be kicked off with this open schooling show. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Toni Pierson at (509)234-5881 or ToniPierson@Rocketmail.com.
