Fair and Trade Show to bring World-Renowned Equestrian
Experts to Idaho!

The Western Idaho Horse Fair and Trade Show, a three day equine
exposition, returns to the Western Idaho Fairgrounds, February
15-17, 2002. It is expected to attract more than 200,000 breeders,
trainers, riders and horse enthusiasts from across the United
States.
The Western Idaho Horse
Fair and Trade Show was named one of the Top 12 Horse Expos in
the Nation by Horse & Rider two years in a row and offers
a variety of activities fit for the entire family. A petting zoo,
pony rides and rodeo clown Ed White will entertain both young
and old.
Education, fun and
family are key components of the Western Idaho Horse Fair and
Trade Show.

Horseman of the Year will be the headline entertainer and is set
to present clinics.
The Western Idaho Horse
Fair and Trade Show will feature educational presentations and
demonstrations on topics ranging from riding and showing to training
and caring for your horse. There will be speciality training lessons,
show tune-ups, bit and bitting clinics and an absolute crowd pleaser
the “laying the horse down exercise.”
The year’s show
features an expanded list of seminars and speakers known throughout
the equine industry including Ken McNabb, Jeff Spencer, Justin
Werneke, Trina McGown, Don West and several more.
The Stallion Station
will allow attendees to preview gorgeous stallions for breeding
and show. Breed demonstrations will show the versatility of different
breeds. Michael Pariseau and Eitan Beth-Halachmy of California
will be bringing their Friesian and Morgan equines to participate
in clinics, seminars and the evening programs.
On Friday and Saturday
nights, spectators can take in the “Night of the Horse”
Event. This theatrical production puts horses on center stage.
Breeds from around the world, breathtaking acts and costumes,
and riders talented, graceful and daring perform. Featured performances
include High School and Cowboy Dressage.
The Western Idaho Horse
Fair and Trade Show features acres of products including tack,
art, trailers, feeds, clothing, stable equipment, grooming products
and more.
The 2002 show will
include a premiere horse sale. This sale will feature select,
pre-screened equines that will please any buyer. A stallion service
auction will take place prior to the sale.
