Seven Year Update!
Jake Turner was "Youth of the Month" back in April of
1993. As a ten year old he had just shown his two year old mare "In Triples
Image" for the first time. Since that article, Jake, now seventeen years old,
has become a very respected trainer, handler and competitor of Quarter Horses
shown at Halter. To date he has earned over 100 AQHYA Halter points; a Superior
in Youth Halter; 5 R.O.M.'s; 9 National AQHYA World Show Qualifier's; multiple
AQHA point earner's, Futurity winners, Grand and Reserve Grand Championships,
and Hi-Point Halter Horses for the states of Idaho and Washington. In addition
he has accomplished many of the above mentioned at ABRA shows.
Horse Previews congratulates Jake Turner and his horses, "In Triples Image," "CR Sun," "Shesa Quincy Dan," "Two Foxy In Lace," "Watch This Dun," and most recently, "Triple Dun Riple." With all his accomplishments, AQHYA members tell us he never fails to bring a smile, helping hand and kind word to all. He is a wonderful inspiration and credit to the type of Youth in the AQHYA membership. With two more years left in AQHYA showing, Jake will continue to help his family, "Triple T Quarter Horses," breed show, promote and raise today's standard of Quarter Horses. The future holds much promise for this talented youth exhibitor. Now, seven years later Horse Previews is still proud of our youth - Jake Turner!
